Olga's Kitchen Unveils New Mural Honoring Founder

Olga Loizon, founder of our restaurant, has been immortalized with a hand-painted mural installed in our Ann Arbor restaurant. 

Desiree Kelly, a local Detroit artist, created the piece over six months. “The combination of traditional oil paint and street art is really the influence of my style,” said Kelly. She wanted the mural to capture Olga’s legacy as a pioneering female entrepreneur. “During my process, going through old photos of Olga, and just seeing her energy and the excitement she was creating, I wanted to bring those images to life,” Kelly said.
